Kyra Sanchez Clapper

Kyra Sanchez Clapper currently serves as an Assistant Professor of History at Bethel University of Tennessee, developing and teaching undergraduate courses in History and French, while also advising students and leading study abroad trips to France. Clapper also instructs graduate-level courses at the University of North Alabama and has a significant teaching history at institutions such as The University of Memphis, where various history and French courses were taught. In addition, Clapper has been involved with high school education at St. Agnes Academy-St. Dominic School and has held numerous roles as an adjunct instructor at several universities. With a Ph.D. in Modern European History from The University of Memphis, Clapper’s academic credentials are complemented by extensive experience in curriculum development, student mentorship, and service in educational communities.
