Bethesda is a not-for-profit organization supporting people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities since the opening of our first home in 1937. We have continued to grow and adapt to the needs of those we support while maintaining our roots of helping people in the Spirit of Christ.

We are dedicated to serving children, youth and adults with special needs within the community through a network of clinical supports. Our staff is caring and committed to working with you to best support you or your loved one and family.

Our mission, is to provide in the Spirit of Christ, a continuum of holistic services and supports that will enhance the quality of life for people who have a developmental disability. 

We will continue to be a supporting, encouraging, and caring community to persons who have a developmental disability by providing quality services and supports in a responsible, accountable, and innovative manner. 

Bethesda's staff of over 500 provide effective, relevant services in a professional, caring manner to over 2,400 individuals annually.
