Dr Richard Magtengaard has a diverse work experience in various mental health counseling and clinical roles. Dr Richard is currently serving as the Managing Director of Resolute, a comprehensive clinical service for military personnel and their families. Dr Richard is also a Member of the Open Arms National Advisory Committee, providing independent advice on mental health counseling services for veterans and their families. In addition, Dr Magtengaard has held positions as Director and Clinical Lead at Bethesda Health Care, Managing Director of 'For Those Who Serve' group therapy program, and Director of Operations at Sentien TMS Clinics, where they specialized in delivering MRI-guided TMS Therapy. Dr Richard has also served on the Clinical Advisory Board of Chronic Care Australia and as a Clinical Ambassador at Emyria. Prior to these roles, Dr Magtengaard served as Director at Salvado, focusing on individualized care for mental health and well-being.
Dr. Richard Magtengaard completed a postgraduate bachelor's degree in Medicine, specializing in Physical Sciences, from the University of Adelaide. Dr Richard pursued their education at the university from 1987 to 1990.
