Dave Hurst

Dave Hurst, Ph.D., is an experienced education leader with a career spanning various roles in school administration and teaching. Currently serving as Deputy Superintendent and formerly as Assistant Superintendent for Educational Programs and K-12 Mathematics Supervisor at Bethlehem Central School District since July 2010, Dave also held the position of Director of Math, Science, and Technology at East Greenbush Central School District for a brief period in 2009-2010. In addition, Dave's involvement with the Association of Mathematics Teachers of NYS includes serving as Past President and Webmaster since 2009. Educational accomplishments include a Ph.D. in Educational Policy and Leadership and advanced certificates from the University at Albany, alongside a Master of Science in Teaching from Union College and a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education - Mathematics from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh. Notably, Dave has contributed to athletics as Head Varsity Soccer Coach and Assistant Varsity Hockey Coach at La Salle Institute.
