Clarissa West-White

University Archivist & Assistant Professor at Bethune-Cookman University

Clarissa West-White currently serves as President of the Florida Association of College & Research Libraries since June 2023. At Bethune-Cookman University, Clarissa has held various roles since August 2014, including University Archivist, Assistant Professor, and Chair of English, World Languages, and Cultures Studies, among others. Previous positions include Assistant-IN in English Education at Florida State University and various faculty roles at Florida A&M University and Florida Memorial University. Clarissa earned a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science, a Doctorate in English Education, and two additional Master's degrees from Florida State University, specializing in English Education.
