Dorcas E. McCoy, PhD, currently serves as Associate Professor of International Studies and Political Science at Bethune-Cookman University, where additional roles include Interim Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of the School of Social Sciences. McCoy has extensive academic experience, having previously held the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Central Florida from 1995 to 2001. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in International Relations and Affairs from Washington State University, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from Harvard University, and a Master of Arts in Political Science and Government, along with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism, both from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University.
