Laura Stewart

Laura Stewart is an experienced humanities instructor with a long-standing career in higher education, currently teaching at Bethune-Cookman University, Seminole State College of Florida, and Daytona State College since 2012, 2011, and 2008 respectively. Specializing in courses such as Art Appreciation, Humanities, and History of Photography, Laura is also an accomplished writer, contributing to The Orlando Weekly and previously serving as the Fine Arts Writer for the Daytona Beach News-Journal. Laura's early career involved reporting on visual and performing arts, and educational credentials include a B.A. and M.A. in Art History and Humanities from the University of Iowa, as well as foundational studies in art history at Barnard College.
