Rhea Loney

Rhea Loney has extensive work experience in the legal and compliance field. Rhea is currently serving as the Chief Compliance Officer at BetMGM since 2022. Previously, they worked at Penn Interactive from 2019 to 2022, where they held the positions of VP, Compliance & Regulatory Affairs and Director of Compliance. In these roles, they provided guidance and supervision to the compliance team and oversaw the creation of online internal controls for various states of operations. Before that, Rhea worked as an Assistant Attorney General at the State Racing Commission from 2011 to 2019, where they provided legal counsel and advice to the commission and monitored legislative sessions. Rhea also worked as a Solo Practitioner & Contract Attorney at Magee, Zeringue & Richardson from 2011 to 2018, representing clients in civil and criminal litigation.

Rhea Loney has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Environmental Biology from Southeastern Louisiana University. Rhea also holds a Juris Doctor degree from Tulane University Law School. In 2009, they obtained a certification as an Attorney from the Louisiana State Bar Association and a Certificate of Specialization in Environmental Law from Tulane University Law School.
