Chandra Ravipati has over 25 years of work experience. Chandra has held various roles in multiple companies, showcasing their expertise in software development and engineering. Chandra started their career at Kansas State University, IBES as a Software Programmer and later became a Software Developer. Chandra then moved to Princeton Consulting, where they worked as a Software Engineer. Chandra joined Avaya in 1998 and held several positions, including Member of Technical Staff I, Member of Technical Staff, Distinguished Member of Technical Staff, and Product Manager. Their most recent role at Avaya was as a Sr. Manager, Data Analytics, Avaya Client Services. In 2017, Chandra joined BETSOL as the Director of Engineering and was later promoted to Senior Director of Engineering and then to Vice President of Software Development.

Chandra Ravipati began their education journey by obtaining an Intermediate (+2) degree in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry from Gowtham Residential College from 1988 to 1990. They then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering at Osmania University from 1990 to 1994. Continuing their education, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from Kansas State University from 1994 to 1996. Chandra Ravipati further enhanced their academic qualifications by earning an MBA degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2010 to 2013, specializing in Analytic Management, General Management, International Business, Marketing, Operations, and Entrepreneurship. In addition to their formal education, Chandra Ravipati has also obtained certifications to broaden their expertise. These certifications include "Certified SAFe® 5 Product Owner/Product Manager" from Scaled Agile, Inc. obtained in March 2022, "DevOps Foundations: Containers" from LinkedIn obtained in August 2017, and "Market Driven Product Management" from Pragmatic Marketing obtained in April 2011.
