Alan Connolly has a diverse background in software development and engineering. Alan began their career in 2002 at Secom international ltd, where they worked as an Electronic Engineer, creating building access security and parking systems for various clients. In 2004, they joined Diagnos.co.uk as a Software Engineer.
In 2006, Alan moved to Autologic.com, where they held two roles: Senior Software Engineer and later Project Lead. As a Senior Software Engineer, they developed, adapted, tested, and maintained software for accessing diagnostic data in the automotive sector. Alan also showcased new software developments to international distributors and external clients. As a Project Lead, Alan led a team of software engineers, managing multiple projects and updating current software with market updates.
In 2011, Alan joined Autologic Diagnostics Ltd as a Software Development Manager. Alan led and developed key projects from concept stages through to product release and review. Alan managed project leads to ensure timely delivery and analyzed data to identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Alan also maintained communication with stakeholders and provided regular updates.
From 2015 to 2020, Alan served as the Head of Product Development at Autologic Diagnostics Limited. In this key leadership role, they reported to the CTO and was responsible for managing and coordinating resources and processes to deliver software, hardware, service, and solution releases. Alan also participated in defining the company's product development strategy and drove initiatives aligned with the company's mission.

Alan Connolly holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from the University of Central Lancashire.
