Alexis Simmons

Alexis Simmons, SHRM-CP, has extensive experience in employee relations and internal communications. Currently serving as Manager of Team Resources at Better Health Group since April 2020, Alexis previously held roles at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa from January 2014 to March 2020, including Employee Relations Specialist and Internal Events & Communications Coordinator. In these positions, responsibilities included advising on employee relations issues, coordinating internal communications, and planning events to enhance team engagement. Alexis also has experience as a substitute teacher with the School Board of Hernando County and Nature Coast Technical High School, as well as in youth management at the YMCA of the Suncoast. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of South Florida and an Associate's degree from Pasco-Hernando State College.
