Mario Wells

Mario Wells currently serves as the Director of Rental Real Estate Development at Better Housing Coalition since May 2021, having previously held the position of Real Estate Development Manager at CPDC from January 2018 to May 2021 and Development Officer at Community Housing Partners from March 2016 to December 2017. Prior experience includes working as a Community Outreach Program Support Analyst and a Community Outreach Program Support Trainee at VHDA from August 2012 to March 2016, along with a role as a Community Housing Intern. Additionally, Mario Wells was Co-Chair of the Young Planners Group at the American Planning Association of Virginia in 2014. Academia includes a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning focused on Urban Revitalization and Community Revitalization from Virginia Commonwealth University (2011-2013) and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Government and Criminal Justice/Police Science from Virginia Commonwealth University (2006-2010).
