Zach Blount has worked in a variety of roles since 2014. In that year, they were the President and Marketing and Fundraising Chair for The Davidson Generals, a cappella group. Zach also worked as a Research Assistant at Davidson College Cognitive Psychology Lab and a Research Intern at Life Paths Research Program. In 2015, they worked as a Neuropsychological Tester at Davidson College Cognitive Aging Lab and continued their role as a Research Intern at Life Paths Research Program. In 2016, they were a Post-Baccalaureate Research Fellow at Life Paths Appalachian Research Center & Appalachian Center for Resilience Research. In 2017, they were an Independent Consultant and Focus Group Leader at Sewanee:The University of the South and a Musician at Stray Fossa. In 2020, they were an Intensive Case Manager at Eliot Community Human Services, and in 2022, they began their current role as Community Health Coordinator at Better Life Partners.
Zach Blount received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Psychology and an Interdisciplinary Minor in South Asian Studies from Davidson College between 2012 and 2016. In 2020, they obtained a Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross. Additionally, they hold a Medication Administration Certification from the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH).
