Dr. Amadeus Driando Ahnan-Winarno

Dr. Amadeus Driando Ahnan-Winarno has a wealth of work experience. From 2014-2017, they served as Co-founder of Indonesian Tempe Movement, Secretary of Asia Pacific Food Analysis Network and Indonesian Food Analysis Network, and Genomics Laboratory Intern at Nutrifood. In 2015, they were Research and Development Extension at PT EMBRIO Biotekindo. In 2017, they became a Research Assistant at University of Massachusetts Amherst. Finally, in 2018, they became Co-Founder & CTO of Better Nature, a food-tech start-up dedicated to creating a food system that is better for people and better for the planet.

Dr. Amadeus Driando Ahnan-Winarno has an extensive educational background. Dr. Amadeus Driando received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biotechnology from Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia in 2015. Prior to that, they attended SMA Regina Pacis Bogor from 2008 to 2011. In 2020, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Food Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. In addition to their formal education, Dr. Ahnan-Winarno has obtained several certifications, including Management Training from Young Foodies in 2022, Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2020, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) Trainer from PT EMBRIO Biotekindo in 2015, Marketing and Leadership Training from M-BRIO Training Body in 2014, and Scientific Report Trainer from M-BRIO Training Body in 2013.
