Gillian Nye

Gillian Nye serves as the Customer Experience Manager for Memorial Ceremonies at Better Place Forests since August 2018, where significant achievements include recognition in multiple Fast Company awards and Comparably awards, highlighting aspects such as employee happiness and leadership quality. Gillian has also held the title of Memorial Ceremonies Specialist and worked as a Forest Steward. Additionally, Gillian is the owner of Roots Herbal Apothecary since January 2005. Educational qualifications include attending Hampshire College and obtaining a Community Herbalist Certification in Herbal Medicine from the California School of Herbal Studies. Better Place Forests focuses on providing sustainable memorial forests as alternatives to traditional cemeteries, aiming to inspire meaningful legacies.
