Susan Fender

Susan Fender, FCA, is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Director of Finance at Better Society Capital since February 2022, having previously held the positions of Head of Finance and Interim Head of Finance. Between January 2016 and May 2021, Susan was the Head of Finance at Seven Investment Management LLP (7IM), overseeing a team responsible for management accounts, statutory financial statements, and various financial reporting functions. Prior roles include Financial Controller at British Arab Commercial Bank, Head of Finance at Captiva Capital Management Ltd, Branch Accountant at Landsbanki, and Financial Controller positions at Deutsche Bank and Majedie Investments. Susan began their career at Global Asset Management Limited and Harrington Trust Limited after working as a Fund Accountant at Ernst & Young. Educational qualifications include an FCA from ICAEW and a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and Finance from Kingston University.
