Catharine Montgomery

Catharine Montgomery, MBA, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of public relations, communications, and marketing. Catharine most recently founded and served as CEO of Better Together, a purpose-driven public relations agency. Prior to that, they held various leadership roles at 617MediaGroup, including Chief Operating Officer and Chief Experience and Success Officer. Catharine also served as the Executive Vice President at a previous agency, where they led business development efforts and implemented strategic plans. Catharine has experience working in the corporate world as well, having worked as a Director at CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) and as a Corporate Communications Manager at Burson-Marsteller. Catharine also has experience in crisis communications and account management from their time at Porter Novelli. Additionally, Catharine gained experience in media relations and PR through their roles at KLS Public Relations, ATL2nite.com, and Edelman. Catharine began their career with internships and assistant roles at HomeVestors, Edelman, and Auburn University, where they also earned their MBA.

Catherine Montgomery, MBA, holds a Dual Bachelor's Degrees in Public Relations and Marketing from Auburn University. Catharine also obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business between 2017 and 2019.
