With a rich background as an independent consultant from 2000 to January 2021, Schwartz supported organizations in developing impactful programs and strategic partnerships. Previous roles include Senior Director of Impact and Service Delivery at Better Tomorrows, Executive Director of PennSERVE at the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry, and Senior Program Officer at the New Jersey Commission on National & Community Service. Schwartz's work has been dedicated to civic engagement, community service, and educational improvement across various organizations and states. Academic credentials include a Master in Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and several certifications in management and nonprofit leadership.

Better Tomorrows
Better Tomorrows provides case management and facilitates impactful social services and community programs for more than 40,000 children, youth, families, and seniors in over 125 affordable housing communities across the country. The organization focuses on five core outcome areas: 1) Academic Support 2) Financial Literacy 3) Health, Wellness, and Nutrition 4) Job Readiness, Occupational Wellness & Stability, and 5) Social & Community Engagement. In 1989, Better Tomorrows' foundation began when an affordable housing owner and developer Mike Levitt, founder of the Michaels Organization, invested in a new approach to property management for low-income communities under the leadership of Jacqueline "Jackie" Jones. In 2013, Better Tomorrows was incorporated as an independent non-profit organization with a mission to provide opportunities for residents to thrive, leading to healthy, sustainable communities.
