Wes Selke

Wes Selke is the Founding Partner at Better Ventures. Prior to this, they were a Board Member at NamasteDirect, a non-profit organization that supports microfinance institutions in Guatemala and Mexico, from January 2006 to December 2010. In October 2010, they became the Founding Director at Hub Ventures, a startup accelerator that funds and supports high-caliber entrepreneurs building technology solutions for some of the world's biggest challenges, until September 2013. From June 2006 to December 2014, Selke was also an Investment Manager at Good Capital, LLC. Wes started their career as an Equity Research Associate at William Blair & Company from June 2003 to June 2005.

Wes Selke obtained their MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business with a focus in strategy, social entrepreneurship, and international development. Prior to that, they completed their BBA at the University of Michigan with a focus in finance and accounting. Wes is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
