Romy Hielscher

Romy Hielscher has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. In 2010, they started as an intern at Akebono Brake Industry. Later that year, they worked as a telephone operator at gkk DialogGroup GmbH. From 2011 to 2014, Romy served as a Digital Innovation & Project Manager at Deutsche Post. In 2014, they joined Deutsche Telekom as an MBA specializing in IoT & Innovation Management, where they stayed until 2016. Romy then became the Head of Corporate Startup Summit/Events at EnterpriseUp from 2016 to 2017. Romy continued to grow their career by working as an ada fellowship at Handelsblatt Media Group from 2019 to 2020. In 2017, Romy joined Henkel and held various positions such as Manager Marketing & IoT and Consumer Interface Experience & Design until 2022. Simultaneously, they managed Device-Enabled Digital Innovations at Henkel until 2022 as well. Currently, Romy is working at BetterDoc as a Senior Product Designer starting from 2023. Before that, they had their own health coaching business named "Romy Hielscher Health Coaching" from 2019 to 2023, where they provided holistic health consulting.

Romy Hielscher's education history is as follows: From 2007 to 2011, they attended the University of Bremen, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Applied Business Language and International Management. In 2009-2010, they studied at Dokkyo University Japan, focusing on Japanese and Cross-Cultural Management. Later, from 2014 to 2016, Romy pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management at the Steinbeis-Hochschule Schools of Next Practices. In 2015, they briefly attended UC San Diego to study Marketing, International Management, and Cross-Cultural Management. In 2016, they attended the Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management in China, specializing in International Business and Cross-Cultural Management. Additionally, Romy pursued further education in different fields, completing a Holistic Health & Nutrition Coach program at the Akademie der Naturheilkunde/Swiss Education Center from 2018 to 2019. Lastly, in 2019-2020, they participated in the Elevation Program, studying as a Spiritual Coach under Bahar Yilmaz.
