Camila Valdés Araya

Camila Valdés Araya has a wide range of experience in finance and accounting. Camila is currently the Global Accounting Director at Betterfly, a position they have held since November 2023. Prior to this, they were the Accounting Manager - Spanish Speaking Americas at Sovos Latinoamérica from May 2022 to November 2023. Camila also worked as the CEO and Consultant at KeePoint Consulting from May 2018 to November 2023, where they specialized in financial evaluations, budgets, tax advice, and accounting.

Before joining KeePoint Consulting, Camila was the Head of Accounting & Tax - Chile at Virbac from July 2021 to May 2022. Camila was also the Accounting & Reporting specialist at Atos from November 2018 to July 2021, responsible for accounting, taxes, and financial reporting. Prior to Atos, they worked at AccorHotels as an Accounting & Tax specialist from December 2016 to July 2018, and at IBM as part of the Finance Taxes team from January 2016 to December 2016.

Camila's earlier work experience includes roles such as Ayudante Estadística Aplicada II at Universidad de Santiago de Chile from August 2014 to December 2016, and Analyst in Administration and Finance at Comercial Metalúrgica Cáceres Hermanos S.A. from January 2014 to December 2015. Camila also worked as a freelance Accountant from February 2009 to July 2013, providing services such as tax determination and payment, consultations, and financial statements.

Camila Valdés Araya obtained a Contador Público y Auditor degree in Administration and Economics from Universidad de Santiago de Chile from 2013 to 2017. In 2019, they completed a Diplomatura in Business Strategy at Universidad de Chile. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Ingeniería Civil Informática at Universidad Tecnica Federico Santa Maria from 2009 to 2011. In 2007, they obtained a Contador Técnico de Nivel Medio degree in Accounting from Instituto Comercial Alberto Valenzuela Llanos, San Fernando.
