Swathi A. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Swathi is currently the Founder and CEO of BetterMeal AI, a position they have held since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Galvanize Inc from July 2018 to April 2021, serving as a Senior Data Scientist and Lead Data Science Instructor.

Swathi also worked as a Data Scientist at Fortella (formerly Datalaab) from September 2017 to July 2018. During their time there, they built B2B marketing and sales machine learning models and created propensity models to identify high-performing accounts.

Before joining Fortella, Swathi worked at Microsoft as a Data Scientist from March 2017 to September 2017. In this role, they created churn models to identify customers at high risk of churning and significantly improved model performance using neural networks.

Prior to their role at Microsoft, Swathi worked as a Data Scientist at BXB Digital, A Brambles Company from August 2016 to 2017, where they created advanced supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms for time series analysis.

Swathi has also gained experience in various internships and co-op programs. Swathi worked as an Operations Analyst Intern at Nor1 in 2014, where they integrated and analyzed large datasets for multiple clients. Swathi also worked as a Lead Technical Consultant at Hamilton Financial Services and as a web maintenance and database management intern at Syracuse University.

Swathi started their career as an Associate Software Engineer at EmindKpo, where they developed and maintained company websites. Swathi holds a strong background in machine learning, predictive modeling, and data analysis.

Swathi A. obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Information Science/Studies from BNM Institute Of Technology, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Later, from 2013 to 2014, they pursued a Master's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management at Syracuse University. In 2017, they took a course on Deep Learning A-Z™: Hands-On Artificial Neural Networks at Udemy Academy. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Public Speaking Master from Udemy in January 2018, Deep Learning A-Z™: Hands-On Artificial Neural Networks from Udemy in June 2017, Business Development from Udacity in September 2015, and CAPM from PMP Certification Training | Exam Cost | Project Management Certification Online Classes in June 2013.
