Liane Pierce has extensive work experience in various leadership positions related to client and partner experience. Liane is currently the VP of Client Experience at Betterment since May 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Vice President of Client Experience at Andela from May 2020 to May 2021. Before that, Liane worked as the Senior Director of Partner Experience at Andela from April 2018 to May 2020. Liane also has experience as the Director of Client Success at Outcome Health from April 2016 to November 2017, the VP Client Services at Yieldbot from August 2014 to March 2016, and the VP Client Services at Spongecell from September 2012 to August 2014. Liane also worked as a Production Coordinator at Spongecell from September 2010 to March 2011, and as an Assistant at Blue Ridge Capital from February 2009 to August 2010. Liane began their career as an Associate Consultant at Triage Consulting Group in 2007. Liane Pierce also has a brief experience as a Deputy Field Organizer at Obama for America from August 2008 to November 2008.

Liane Pierce attended William G Enloe High School from 1999 to 2003. After graduating from high school, they enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2003 to 2007. During their time there, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Business and Spanish. Liane also attended UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from 2003 to 2007.
