Russell Gerber

Russell Gerber is an accomplished data science leader with extensive experience in developing data infrastructure and analytics solutions. Currently serving as the Director of Data Science at BetterYou since August 2022, Russell has notably achieved over 200% member retention through innovative AI models and the establishment of a comprehensive data ecosystem. Prior experience includes roles as Principal Data Scientist at Icario, where Russell led a team to enhance survey data capture and forecasting accuracy, and as Research Economist at the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, focusing on educational intervention analysis. Russell’s educational background is comprised of a Doctor of Philosophy (ABD) and a Master of Science in Economics from The University of Texas at Austin, complemented by a Bachelor's degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a certification as a Machine Learning Engineer from Udacity.
