James Seils

James Seils is a co-founder of BettorEdge, a position held since April 2019. Prior to this, James served as a manager and risk assurance senior associate at PwC from July 2012 to October 2020, where work involved integrating controls for Fortune 500 companies through customized and Oracle-based business process design. This role required leveraging knowledge in Oracle and business processes to create technology-enabled control solutions aimed at mitigating risk. Earlier experience includes serving as a managerial accounting teaching assistant at the University of Iowa and a business analyst intern at AEGON. James holds a Master of Accounting and a B.B.A. in Accounting, both from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, completed in 2012 and 2011 respectively.
