Jim Reynolds is a Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience in mental health and law enforcement. Since March 2019, Jim has worked at First Responder Training & Counseling, specializing in EMDR therapy and providing CPT for PTSD. Concurrently, Jim has been serving at Betty Hardwick Center since December 2018, focusing on counseling for military veterans and active duty personnel. Prior to these roles, Jim was a Case Manager LPC Intern at Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic from June 2016 to November 2018, aiding veterans in their transition to civilian life. Jim's background also includes a decade as the Director of the Criminal Justice Division at Permian Basin Regional Planning Commission and over 25 years as a Lieutenant at Midland Police Department. Educational credentials include a Master of Education in Counselor Education from Sul Ross State University, a Master of Arts in Religion from Liberty University, a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, and an Associate degree in Law Enforcement from Cisco College.
