Benj Bermudez

Benj Bermudez is a skilled professional in the film industry with significant experience in casting and development. Currently serving as a Casting Associate at BETTY MAE INC since October 2019, Benj previously held the position of Casting Intern at the same company in 2019. As an Outset Fellow at Outfest in 2019, Benj participated in a six-month program dedicated to supporting young LGBTQ+ filmmakers in creating short films. Earlier experience includes a Development Intern role at American High in 2018, where Benj provided script coverage focused on enhancing grammar, format, and story marketability. Benj holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema and Television Arts: Screenwriting from California State University, Northridge and an Associate of Arts in Social and Behavioral Sciences from San Joaquin Delta College. Educational background also includes a High School Diploma from Stockton Unified Early College Academy.
