Gerdien Dijkstra

Gerdien Dijkstra has extensive experience in project management and sustainability, currently serving as a director and project leader at Betuwewind since January 2022, where responsibility includes the development of agricultural and nature projects. Dijkstra also leads the development of Voedselbos Lingehout, managing a 12-hectare food forest project commissioned by Betuwewind. As a procesregisseur for Herenboeren Nederland and owner of DijkstraDoet, expertise encompasses project management and advisory roles focused on food forests, nature-inclusive agriculture, and risk management. Previous roles include board member at Stadsboerderij Caetshage, where communication and public engagement responsibilities were held, and long-term project management positions at MVO Nederland, including development of sustainability tools. Gerdien Dijkstra holds master's degrees in Environmental Science and Biology from Utrecht University.
