LaKeisha Harrison, MBA

LaKeisha Harrison, MBA has a wealth of professional experience. LaKeisha began their career in 2011 as the Founder/CEO/Chief Consultant of LTH Enterprises Consulting, a personal branding and business development consulting company. In 2012, they worked as a CLS/Point of Care Coordinator at Tenet Healthcare: St. Francis Bartlett Hospital. From 2013 to 2017, they Co-Founded Memphis Startup, a business that helps small business owners and entrepreneurs navigate the basics of starting a business, and Co-Founded Memphis Entrepreneurship Academy, a program that equips aspiring entrepreneurs with the insights, relationships, and tools needed to turn ideas into action. In 2015, they began working as a Benefits Consultant at Aflac and in 2016 they began working as a Tutor 1 at Tutor.com. In 2017, they became a Diversity and Inclusion Committee Member and Director of the Memphis Chapter at Startup Grind, a global startup community designed to educate, inspire, and connect entrepreneurs. In 2019, they began teaching Phlebotomy Techniques as an Adjunct Professor at American National University. Most recently, in 2021, they began working as a Customer Support at Bevy, where they are a product expert and a savant of community building.

LaKeisha Harrison, MBA has an extensive education history. LaKeisha obtained a Masters of Business Administration in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix in 2007. LaKeisha then went on to receive a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Public Policy Administration/Policy Analysis from Walden University in 2021. In 2004, they earned a Certificate in Medical Technology from North Mississippi Medical Center. LaKeisha also obtained a Bachelors of Science in Biology from Alcorn State University in 2003. Additionally, they have obtained four certifications: Chapter Management 101 and Community Management 101 from Bevy in 2021, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt from Diesell Consultants in 2015, and Medical Laboratory Scientist from the American Society for Clinical Pathology in 2010.
