Kari Tuomela

Kari Tuomela is a finance professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as Finance Manager at BEWI RAW since May 2020, responsibilities include monthly closing, reporting, forecasting, cash planning, and budgeting for BEWI RAW Oy and Bewi Cabee Oy. Previously, as Director of Strategy and Business Controlling at Stora Enso from January 2016 to December 2019, Kari led the finance function for the Wood Products division's Building Components and Systems unit, overseeing multiple P&L responsibilities. From April 2014 to December 2015, as Senior Finance Manager at Microsoft, oversight included finance for global sales teams with a focus on ROI and customer-centric approaches. Earlier experience at Nokia spanned 14 years, where responsibilities included Head of Controlling for Global Sales & Marketing Units and Senior Business Controller, emphasizing finance partnership in both strategic and tactical decisions. Kari holds a Master of Science in Economics with a focus on Accounting from Aalto University and completed executive education at Aalto University in 2016.
