Alejandro Sanchez has an extensive law enforcement career spanning over three decades. Currently serving as a Deputy Sheriff for the Bexar County Sheriff Office since January 2016, Alejandro has held roles in both patrol and court security. Prior experience includes nearly 21 years at the same office, where Alejandro was an Administrative Sergeant responsible for booking liaison duties and supervised the detention and booking intake sections. Alejandro was also an officer and supervisor with the Special Emergency Response Team from 1995 to 2005, responding to emergencies within the Bexar County Adult Detention Center. Earlier roles include serving as a Deputy Sheriff with the Kerr County Sheriff's Office, handling patrol, traffic, warrants, and extraditions, as well as working as a Patrol Officer for the Brookshire Police Department. Alejandro pursued education at the University of Houston and The University of Texas at San Antonio.
