Seegaal R. has a range of work experience in the legal field. Segaal is currently working as an Assistant General Counsel at Beyond Air®, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Vice President Legal at CRE Venture Capital from August 2021 to August 2022. Before that, they were a Corporate Associate at Withersworldwide from February 2018 to September 2019. Segaal also served as an Investment Management Associate at Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP from May 2016 to February 2018, and as a Mergers and Acquisitions Associate at Greenberg Traurig, LLP from September 2014 to May 2016. Segaal began their legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Stuart M. Bernstein at the U.S. Bankruptcy Courts from 2012 to 2014.

Segaal R. received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from Binghamton University from 2002 to 2006. Later, from 2008 to 2012, they pursued their Doctor of Law - JD degree at Fordham University School of Law. In 2011 to 2012, Segaal R. furthered their studies by completing an LL.M degree in European Union Law at Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II). Additionally, in 2009, they engaged in a study abroad program focused on Business Law at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas.
