Rebecca Gardner has extensive experience in strategic planning and policy development, currently serving as Head of Strategy, Policy and Advice at Beyond Blue since February 2022. Previously, Rebecca held several leadership roles in the Victorian Department of Health from November 2015 to February 2022, including Manager of Strategic Policy & Projects and Manager of Mental Health and Wellbeing, and was responsible for managing the Victorian cancer plan 2016-2020. Rebecca also coordinated community planning and engagement at Moonee Valley City Council and worked as a Senior Policy Officer at the Department of Health, Victoria. Earlier experience includes roles at the Australian Department of Health and The Foundation for Young Australians. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Education from the University of Canberra.
