Beyond Blue
The Hon. Lisa Singh serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for Beyond Blue and as Chief Executive Officer of the Australia India Institute, with additional roles on various advisory councils. Singh has considerable experience in government, having served as a Senator for Tasmania from 2011 to 2019, where key contributions included developing legislation on environmental and social issues. Prior leadership roles included Minister in the Tasmanian Parliament, focusing on climate change and corrections policy. Singh holds a Master of International Relations from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Tasmania.

Our goals are to: 1. reduce the impact of anxiety, depression and suicide by supporting people to protect their mental health and to recover when they are unwell 2. reduce people’s experiences of stigma and discrimination 3. improve people’s opportunities to get effective support and services at the right time 4. use best business practices to deliver integrated, evidence-based and cost-effective initiatives through our people and resources.
