Virve Lähteenmäki

Virve Lähteenmäki has extensive experience in IT and software development, currently serving as the CIO of BHG Group Finland since April 2012, where responsibilities include leading the Bygghemma Finland IT team and overseeing the development of eCommerce platforms. Prior to this role, Virve was a Product Manager for Bygghemma Finland, managing product categories including Lighting, Interior, and Kitchen. Virve also founded and managed Hobboks, a lifestyle book sales business, and held leadership positions in software development at Digia Plc and Benefect Oy, focusing on solutions for trade unions and unemployment funds. Early career experiences include consulting and project management at Unisys Finland, where Virve contributed to the development of key systems for member management and payment processes. Education includes a Master’s degree in Information Systems Science from Aalto University.
