Director Global Sales Italy, Beyond Green at Beyond Green

Silvia Lavazza has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Silvia began their career in 1997 as a Front Office Sales representative at STS Student Travel Schools, where they promoted a wide range of destinations and closed sales quickly. Silvia then worked as an Airport Operation Supervisor at Eurofly in 1998 and as a Sales Assistant at SriLankan Airlines from 1999 to 2001.

In 2001, Silvia joined Sol Melia as a Group Coordinator for the Melià Milano Hotel, where they focused on inside sales, collaborating with business and airline companies, and analyzing competitors and hotel performance.

Moving forward, Silvia joined Corinthia Hotels Limited in 2002 as a Sales Manager, responsible for promotional activities and negotiations with clients in various markets. Silvia later became an International Sales Manager at the Corinthia Bab Africa Hotel in Tripoli, Libya, where they opened a sales office in Milan and targeted high-profile clients in the incentive, convention, corporate, and leisure markets.

From 2006 to 2007, Silvia worked as a Sales Manager at Discover the World - Global, before joining Preferred Hotels & Resorts in 2008 as the Director of Global Sales for Italy. In this role, they managed all sales activities within the region, implemented sales events and roadshows, and provided individual hotel sales support.

Most recently, in 2021, Silvia Lavazza joined Beyond Green as the Director of Global Sales for Italy.

Silvia Lavazza attended IULM University from 1991 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Lingue e Letterature Straniere (English, Spanish, Sociology, Psychology, History, Literature). Prior to that, they studied at Liceo Classico Galileo Galilei from 1986 to 1991 and received a Diploma.
