Andrew Sutton

Andrew Sutton has extensive work experience in various roles spanning multiple industries. Andrew is currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Beyond Identity since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as the Owner of Lock3 Software, LLC since June 2017. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant Professor at The University of Akron from August 2013 to May 2019 and served as a Director at Flowgrammable during the same period. Before that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Texas A&M University from August 2010 to August 2013. Andrew also worked as a Doctoral Candidate at Kent State University from September 2004 to August 2010. In their earlier career, Andrew was a Software Engineer at Software Engineering Professionals from August 1999 to February 2002. Prior to that, they worked as a Systems Programmer at Ohio University from June 1998 to June 1999. Throughout their career, Andrew has contributed to various projects and has demonstrated skills in software development, architecture, research, and academia.

Andrew Sutton completed their education in Computer Science at Kent State University and Ohio University. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Ohio University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Following this, Andrew pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Kent State University, studying there from 2002 to 2005. Andrew further continued their education at Kent State University and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science, completing their studies from 2005 to 2010.
