Taher Elgamal

Taher Elgamal is an advisor at Beyond Identity. Taher was previously a board member at Zix Corporation from June 2011 to December 2021. Taher also served as a board member at the Marconi Society and as an advisor at NokNok Labs and Cyphort. From January 2010 to July 2017, they were a board member at IFOS. From January 2009 to April 2017, they were an advisor at Zetta. From January 2001 to April 2017, they were a venture advisor at Onset Ventures. Prior to that, they ran their own consulting business.

Taher Elgamal received their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering/Computer Science from Stanford University and their BS in Electrical Engineering from Cairo University.
