Dr Amadi Lawrence is a Veterinarian currently working at Egerton University since April 2023. Prior to this, they founded Beyond My Tribe in May 2015 and have been leading the organization since. They hold a degree in Veterinary Medicine and Surgery, as well as a Master of Science in Animal Breeding and Genomics from Egerton University. Dr Lawrence also holds additional certifications in education, mental health, and community inclusion, as well as a certificate in Survive to Thrive.

Beyond My Tribe

Beyond My Tribe is a Kenyan initiative that focuses on promoting youth involvement and development. The organization strives to end tribalism, enhance grassroots development, and promote social integration. They believe that the key to achieving this goal is to encourage social values, relations, and institutions that prioritize equality, equity, and dignity for all. To achieve its goals, Beyond My Tribe focuses on eight key areas. These include recognition, representation, redistribution, social justice, human rights, minority rights, equality of rights, and solidarity. They also place a strong emphasis on sustainable development, democracy, leadership capacity, ethics, and morality, as well as technological advancement, infrastructure development, and migrant control policies.
