Jazmin has a wide range of experience in direct service, curriculum development, program planning, and evaluation. She has served students from kindergarten to college for over 10 years and is committed to education reform that increases equity, cultural competency, and life-long learning. In her current role she draws from her previous college coaching and account management experiences to optimize Beyond 12's HR, communication, and project management processes. Her previous work includes teaching second grade Spanish and math at Roses In Concrete Community School, a dual language immersion charter in East Oakland, and consulting with Resource Development Associates where she collaborated with district leaders, teachers, parents, and students to evaluate the effectiveness of K-12 after-school programs and services in the Mt. Diablo and Antioch unified school districts. Jazmin is a first-generation college graduate, with a multiple subject teaching credential, master's degree in education, and bachelor's degrees in peace and conflict studies and art history from UC Berkeley.
