Bob Friesenhahn

Bob Friesenhahn has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Bob started their career as a Contractor at TIL Systems in 1992. Bob then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Interphase, where they managed and maintained software cross-development tools. In 1995, they joined Byte as a Contributing Writer. At DSC, they worked as a Senior Engineer and led a team in developing a portable object-oriented messaging sub-system. In 1998, they became a Staff Engineer at Alcatel, where they served as a Systems Architect for the company's signaling server product. Bob joined ImageMagick Studio in 1996 as an Assistant Maintainer, contributing to the development of the ImageMagick application. In 2003, they became a Senior Software Architect at ReQuest Multimedia and participated in the development of the ARQ4 and VideoReQuest products. Bob joined Magnasync/Moviola in 2005 as a Contractor and was responsible for various design and development tasks related to audio recording systems. Bob's most recent work experience is at BeyondEdge, where they have been working as a Software Engineer since 2010. Additionally, they have had significant involvement in maintaining and developing GraphicsMagick, an open-source image processing package distributed with various operating systems.

Bob Friesenhahn attended St. Mary's University from 1982 to 1986. There, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (BS).
