Bob Friesenhahn has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Bob started their career as a Contractor at TIL Systems in 1992. Bob then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Interphase, where they managed and maintained software cross-development tools. In 1995, they joined Byte as a Contributing Writer. At DSC, they worked as a Senior Engineer and led a team in developing a portable object-oriented messaging sub-system. Bob's most recent work experience is at BeyondEdge, where they have been working as a Software Engineer since 2010. Additionally, they have had significant involvement in maintaining and developing GraphicsMagick, an open-source image processing package distributed with various operating systems.

Bob Friesenhahn attended St. Mary's University from 1982 to 1986. There, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (BS).
