Bret McDougal has several years of experience in various engineering and managerial roles. Bret started their career at Texas Instruments in 1994 as a Test Engineering Design/Lead, where they designed complex interface devices for the US Navy CASS test stations. Bret then worked at Raytheon as a Systems Engineer, where they designed RF interfaces for a missile system upgrade.
In 1999, McDougal joined Siemens Subscriber Networks as a Product Verification Manager. Bret improved the regulatory compliance process and implemented automation efforts for software testing. McDougal also served as the Design Verification Test Lead and Manager, preventing hardware design failures from reaching the field and building a test group.
From 2007 to 2009, McDougal worked at Gigaset Communications as the Product Quality Assurance and Engineering Support Manager. Bret was responsible for resolving hardware and component issues and served as the customer point of contact for North American quality issues.
At SAGEMCOM from 2009 to 2013, McDougal served in Test Engineering, Support Engineering, and Quality Engineering roles. Bret reduced failure rates, developed test equipment solutions, and managed installations, support, and maintenance of test equipment in the US and Canada.
In 2013, McDougal worked at iPhotonix as the Director of Operations, where they managed the operations and warehouse teams, customer fulfillment, product serialization, and the delivery database.
Overall, McDougal has a strong background in hardware testing, support engineering, and quality assurance, and has demonstrated leadership and managerial skills throughout their career.
Bret McDougal attended Texas Tech University from 1980 to 1984, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEET).
