Thomas Jäckle is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in developing Internet of Things (IoT) solutions and digital twin technologies. Currently serving as Principal Software Engineer at beyonnex.io since March 2023, Thomas is responsible for building the bxSuite's "IoT Foundation" utilizing Eclipse Ditto, an open-source digital twin middleware. Since September 2017, Thomas has also held the position of Project Lead and Committer at the Eclipse Foundation, co-founding Eclipse Ditto to support cloud-based digital twin capabilities. Prior roles include Senior Expert IoT at Bosch.IO and Senior Software Engineer at Bosch Software Innovations, where Thomas focused on IoT development and platform management. Thomas holds a Master of Science degree in Software Architecture and Software Engineering from Hochschule Furtwangen, obtained between 2005 and 2010.
