Denys Bastov

Denys Bastov is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in virtual and mixed reality development. Currently serving as the CTO and Co-Founder of Bezi since 2021, Denys previously held the position of VR Design Prototyper at Oculus VR, where interactive prototypes were developed and VR design tools were built from September 2018 to March 2021. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at Magic Leap, contributing to the Helio Mixed Reality browser, and developing internal tools for data collection and computer vision. Denys also conducted computer vision research at the University of Pennsylvania, co-founded the annual Penn Play game development hackathon, and completed a software engineering internship at Google ATAP, focusing on Project Tango prototypes. Denys holds a BSE in Computer Science and Digital Media Design from the University of Pennsylvania, obtained in 2015.
