Washington Navarrete

Washington Navarrete serves as an Education Project Manager at Bezos Academy since June 2023, following an impactful tenure as Director of Special Projects at ICEF Public Schools. Experience includes overseeing COVID management systems and ensuring compliance for seven schools. Washington was distinguished as a COVID Recovery Fellow with Education Pioneers, providing high-level support to school systems. A former Education Leadership Program Manager at UnidosUS, Washington developed programs for Latinx educational leaders with notable success in retention and impact. Past roles also include management of alumni engagement at Teach For America and teaching at KIPP Delta Public Schools. Washington holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Chicana/o Studies from San Diego State University.
