Dan Torres has extensive experience in program management and policy development within the nonprofit and public sectors. Currently serving as Manager of Program Partnerships at the Bezos Family Foundation since October 2019, Dan previously held the position of Senior Program Manager. Prior roles include Executive Director of Essentials for Childhood at the Washington State Department of Health from August 2017 to October 2019, Director of Policy and Partnerships at Thrive Washington from October 2014 to July 2017, and Community Partnerships Manager at Thrive by Five Washington from October 2012 to September 2014. Dan's foundational experience includes roles at the Center for the Study of Social Policy and Casey Family Programs, where responsibilities included project coordination and research support. Dan holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Oregon State University.
