Environmental and Fisheries Team

The Environmental and Fisheries Team at the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) is tasked with overseeing the sustainable management and conservation of the nation's fisheries and aquatic resources. The team focuses on aquatic toxicology, fisheries regulation, aquaculture, seafood safety, aquatic wildlife conservation, and environmental protection. They work together to ensure compliance with fisheries regulations, promote safe seafood practices, support aquaculture development, and facilitate credit and investment opportunities for sustainable fisheries initiatives.
