Neil Williams

Neil Williams is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in digital transformation and technology leadership within both public and private sectors. Currently serving as Executive Director of Technology and Digital Transformation at the British Film Institute (BFI), Neil has previously held significant roles, including Chief Digital Officer at Croydon Council and various leadership positions at the Government Digital Service, where responsibilities included oversight of GOV.UK. Additionally, Neil is a Trustee at Drinkaware and has a strong foundation in digital communications from the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills. An alumnus of the University of Nottingham, Neil holds a First-Class degree in English and completed a Leadership Programme at the Whitehall and Industry Group.
