Ruth Thompson

Ruth Thompson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and partnerships within the creative sector. Currently serving as Senior Manager for Projects and Partnerships at the British Film Institute (BFI) since May 2018, Ruth has played a vital role in the development of new talent and UK-wide partnerships focused on talent development and creative sector growth. Previously, Ruth held various positions at BFI, including Partnerships Manager and Partnerships Coordinator. Prior experience includes a role as Commercial Administrator at GRAHAM Group and an Editorial Intern at GTI Media. Ruth also contributed as Section Editor for The Bubble and worked as an English Language Assistant for the British Council. Ruth holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Combined Honours (English & French) from Durham University.
