Christopher Kathumbi

Christopher Kathumbi started their work experience in 2019 as a Financial Consultant at Sanlam, where they worked until May 2021. Christopher then joined BFREE in June 2021 as an Account Manager, responsible for customer account management and financial advising. In December 2021, they transitioned to a Data Analyst Intern role at BFREE, where they built and maintained analytics dashboards and data pipelines. In February 2022, they were promoted to a Junior Data Engineer, where they built and automated data pipelines, managed data lakes and warehouses, and created automated reports and analysis.

Christopher Kathumbi attended Kenyatta University from 2013 to 2018, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Actuarial Science. During this time, their field of study focused on Actuarial Science. In 2020, they participated in the Google Africa Developer Scholarship program, specializing in Associate Android Development. Additionally, in 2013, they obtained a Cisco Certified Network Associate qualification from Kenyatta University.
